Nigerian Afropop Singer, Davido Bags National Honour Award
Popular Nigerian Afropop singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has been conferred with a national honour award by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Davido was conferred Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
The singer, took to his Instagram story to share the news showing a list of others awarded the same honour as him, marking out his name.
Appreciative of the honour, Davido captioned the post with his name, “David Adeleke OON”, and the Nigerian flag.
His uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, also celebrated him for making the Adeleke family proud and also for being a good ambassador of Osun State.
He wrote, “Congratulations Davido on your conferment with Nigeria’s national honour award, Officer of the Order of Niger (OON). You have made the family proud and Osun as a state.”
