NiDCOM: 9th Batch of Nigerian Evacuees Arrive from Sudan
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, (NiDCOM) has announced that the ninth batch of evacuees from war-torn Sudan have arrived in Nigeria stating no Nigerian life is lost.
One hundred and twenty-six Nigerians, in the ninth batch arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Tuesday.
The commission stated via its Twitter handle that the 9th batch makes a total of 1,730 Nigerians evacuated so far.
“The 9th batch of Evacuees: 126 Nationals (11 minors, 41 infants, and 74 adults) that departed Port Sudan International Airport, landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 10 am local time on May 9 via Tarco Air.
“Making a total of 1,730 evacuees so far. No Nigerian life has been lost so far. #StaySafe.”
