Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan will on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 host a scheduled friendly soccer game between the Ibadan-based Shooting Stars Sports Club and the Nigerian U-23 national team
The friendly encounter, planned to kick off at 4:00pm, is a dress rehearsal for the Salisu Yusuf tutored Olympic Eagles as they get set to jet out of the country for the first leg, U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam, this weekend.
The Oluyole Warriors, who are coached by Gbenga Ogunbote, are stepping up their preparations for the upcoming 2022–2023 season thus; this is just another challenge for them.
