Labour Party’s Flag Made it to Mount Kilimanjaro

“…There is no better place to announce the coming of a New Nigeria than the Rooftop of Africa…”

Mount Kilimanjaro just recently became a centre of attraction as a result of the appearance of Nigeria’s Labour Party’s flag at its peak.

The peak of the mount is known as Uhuru Peak and also the highest point in Africa.

This was made possible by a writer and supporter of Peter Obi, OGersh who took to his Twitter page on Tuesday to announce and share a picture of himself at the Uhuru peak
with the planted flag.

OGersh, a writer and fan of Nigeria’s Labour Party
recounted the time spent before he got to his destination. He mentioned that it took him 10 and a half hours to place the rooftop flag on Africa’s tallest mount, Mount Kilimanjaro

The climber who described the mountain as the “roof top of Africa” added that there is no place in Africa that announces the coming of a new Nigeria than the mount.

Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

“On Fri, 20/10/2022 after 10½ hrs of climbing, hiking and trekking, I made it to the Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, 5,895m above sea level. There is no better place to announce the coming of a New Nigeria than the Rooftop of Africa. This is my contribution to the effort” he wrote.
