Lamidi Apapa Loses Cap Amidst Booing After Appeal Court Session
Lamidi Apapa, the factional Labour Party Chairman on Wednesday lost his cap during the chaos that ensued between him and the Labour Party.
A man from the crowd allegedly removed Apapa’s cap and fled just before he made moves to speak with newsmen after the proceedings but the continuous noise disrupted the process.
Apapa, who had earlier created a scene inside the court, was leaving when a crowd surrounded him.
Shouts of Ole (thief) from the trailing crowd rend the air as the politician was being shielded by policemen, in a struggle to get to where his car was parked.
The incident became more dramatic when someone in the crowd removed Apapa’s cap and fled.
Apapa was recorded in pictures and videos as he eventually walked away overshadowed by the crowd.
