JUST IN: Who are you?-Labour Party Factions Point Fingers at Presidential Tribunal
Two factions of the Labour Party were involved in an intense drama at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal on Wednesday.
The chaos began when the factional chairman of the party, Lamidi Apapa, entered the court premises with some of his supporters for the case of a petition in Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of the party, filed against the victory of President-elect Bola Tinubu.
Recall, Apapa is locked in a battle with the suspended chairman of the party, Julius Abure.
Director-General of the Obi-Datti, Akin Osuntokun, as well as some key members of the Labour Party, engaged the Apapa faction in a shouting match.
“Who are you?” a party official asked Apapa, who fired back saying, “Who are you too?”
Abure was reportedly absent from court at the moment.
