JUST-IN: Usman Baba Hands Over to Acting IGP Egbetokun
The former IG, Usman Baba, has officially handed over to Egbetokun on Wednesday, at the Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The new Acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun officially assumed office as the 22nd IG at the Handing Over ceremony which took place at noon, today.
Recall, on Tuesday, The Pendulum Media reported that Egbetokun was decorated at the State House by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Shortly after he was decorated, Egbetokun, while speaking with the press declared war on all criminals and Nigeria’s adversaries saying, he felt ready to hunt down all criminals and Nigeria’s adversaries like a tiger and lion.
