JUST IN: Tribunal Adjourns Peter Obi’s Petition Against Tinubu to May 19

The Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja on Wednesday adjourned hearing in Peter Obi’s petition challenging Bola Tinubu’s victory as Nigeria’s president-elect.

The sitting judge, Justice Haruna Tsammani adjourned to Friday, May 19, 2023, as a result of the failure of the parties in the petition to agree on documents among other reasons.

Earlier in the court, Lamidi Apapa was in a mild drama with some key members of the Labour Party over seats.

“Who are you?” a party official asked Apapa, who fired back saying, “Who are you too?”

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Tinubu, defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Mr. Obi of the Labour Party (LP) in the 25 February presidential election.
