JUST- IN: Tinubu To Address Nigerians On Sunday

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the broadcast will be aired on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN)

Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to plug into the network services of the NTA and FRCN for the broadcast.

It also read that the broadcast will be repeated on the network services at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.

Earlier, many Nigerians have expressed worry that President Bola Tinubu seems unbothered about the ongoing protests across the nation.

The former minister of youths and sports, Solomon Dalung on Friday told protesters at Old Airport Roundabout in Jos, Plateau State capital that, “If President Tinubu wants the protests to stop, he must come out and address Nigerians,”

Tinubu’s address follows a series of nationwide demonstrations by angry Nigerians demanding solutions to the many economic problems that have bedeviled the nation.
