JUST-IN: Senator Annie Okonkwo Dies at 63
Former Senator Annie Okonkwo of Anambra Central Senatorial District in the Sixth National Assembly is dead.
Okonkwo who celebrated his 63rd birthday on May 23, 2023, died in the US on Wednesday at the age of 63 after recovering from a terminal illness; P.M. Express reports.
The deceased was a former governorship aspirant during the 2010 governorship election in the State but lost to the then-incumbent governor, Peter Obi, who was re-elected.
His family is yet to release an official statement on his demise.
