JUST-IN: President Tinubu Elected as New ECOWAS Chairman
Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed- Tinubu has been elected as the new Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Tinubu who was elected chair at the 63rd Ordinary Session of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, taking place in Guinea-Bissau pledged to uphold democracy.
He noted that despite the toughness of democracy, it is still the best form of government.
