Renowned Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, a.k.a Wizkid has reportedly lost his mother.
The news of her demise was known through reliable sources closely affiliated with the Grammy Award-winning artiste and prolific songwriter.
The source confirmed the death of the Oju Elegba crooner’s mother, who passed away during the early hours of Friday, August 18, 2023.
Wizkid’s fans have taken to social media to sympathise with him over the loss.
Late Mrs. Balogun was known to have stood as an unswerving pillar of strength in bolstering her son’s skyrocketing career when she was alive.
