JUST-IN: Loud Bang Rocks Ibadan, Residents Panic
Residents in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital experienced an explosion on Tuesday evening.
A loud bang was heard around the Agbowo, Sango, Orogun, and Bodija areas of the city.
However, the authenticity of the
cause of the explosion could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
A resident confirmed that the noise was a deafening sound that shook the house, while another source claimed the tremor could be linked to a gas explosion around Bodija as there was a fire.
Reports reaching The Pendulum Media are that there are victims from the explosion both dead and injured with properties destroyed.
