JUST IN: Labour Begins Indefinite Strike Monday
The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, has said the
Organised Labour would embark on an indefinite nationwide strike on Monday, June 3.
This, he stated at an ongoing press briefing in Labour House, Abuja.
According to him, the strike is due to the failure of the federal government to conclude negotiations on a new national minimum wage and reverse the hike in the electricity tariff.
Ajaero added that the strike would begin by midnight on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
