Just In: Fire Guts Oyo State-Owned Broadcasting Station
The Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) is currently being gutted by fire.
According to a source who spoke with our correspondent at The Pendulum Media, on Wednesday afternoon, said, the fire began from the technical area of the studio.
“Yes, BCOS is on fire. Not the entire station, it’s just the technical area. For now, no one knows what caused the fire” the source said.
It was gathered that a lot of damage must have been done to most of the equipment in the studio.
However, the state fire service has been invited and effort to quench the fire is in progress.
