JUST-IN: Bandits Abduct Federal Housing Authority Director From Abuja Residence
Aondo Ver, director at the Federal Housing Authority in the Federal Capital Territory, was reportedly kidnapped by bandits terrorizing Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Thursday at about 12:30 am, 200 metres close to a military base Pambara in the Bwari Area Council of the state.
The Punch reports that the bandits shot indiscriminately, causing panic in the area, before escaping through the bushes with the abductee.
The assailants, who have been on a rampage in the area, killing and abducting unsuspecting citizens, were said to have gained access to the victim’s residence through the fence after cutting the barbed wires.
As of press time, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, did not respond to all inquiries forwarded to her.
