Nigeria’s Super Eagles defeated South Africa in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and qualified for the final.
The thrilling match which took place in Cote d’Ivoire on Wednesday night ended 1-1 in regular time and after 120 minutes.
Captain William Troost-Ekong was the goalscorer from the penalty spot while Kelechi Iheanacho scored the winning penalty
The Super Eagles will play whoever wins between hosts Ivory Coast and DR Congo on Sunday.
