Just In: 32-Year-Old Unionist Defeats 4th Term Rep in Sokoto
Musa S Adar, an incumbent member representing Gada-Goronyo federal constituency of the House of Representatives in Sokoto has been unseated by a 32-year-old student unionist, Bashir Usman Gorau.
Gorau, contested under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and polled 29,679 votes to defeat Adar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who had 25,549 votes.
However, as a result of some hitches, the election was earlier declared inconclusive.
The student unionist is the immediate past Commissioner of Youth and Sport in Sokoto.
