June 12: Presidential Aide, Olusegun Reduces Tinubu’s Fall At Eagle’s Square To Zero Issues
The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun has reacted to the President’s slip at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration in Abuja reducing it to ‘no issues’.
Recall, a viral video showed Tinubu falling while boarding the parade vehicle; the incident has got Nigerians talking on social media.
However, in a swift, Olusegun on his X handle on Wednesday, Olusegun reassured the public through a post, stating;
“Mr. President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped. It was a mild misstep. He immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds. No issues.”
Leaving the incident behind, the President immediately regained his balance and continued with the proceedings.
The ceremony at Eagles Square was an important event in the series of celebrations held nationwide to mark Nigeria’s annual Democracy Day.
