Jesus is Lord on my Page-Spyro Declares He is God’s Ambassador
Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David popularly known as Spyro declared “Jesus is Lord” on his social media page during a live video on Instagram.
The singer had earlier posted on his page that he is set to bring about some changes to the entertainment industry which birthed mixed reactions from some of his fans.
Reacting, Spyro did a follow-up live video on his page where he mentioned that his page is for Jesus and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
He said, “Nobody has the right, it’s on my page, if you have a problem with it, go post on your page whatever you want to post but here, Jesus is Lord, do you understand? You didn’t give me my fame, God brought me here…”
Initially, the “Who is your guy?” Crooner said he will influence the industry for God as his songs would only be known for evergreen music which will be pleasing to the ear and there will be no shaking of bum or any ungodly/dirty lyrics.
He wrote:
“I am only interested in making evergreen music. And that’s exactly what it is. Ain’t no shake your bum or nay kinda ungodly/dirty lyrics here. We pride in promoting what’s right and everyone that works with me already got the memo.
“Ain’t no compromise here. It might take me time but I will influence this industry for God. And someone pls mark my words on that… I am here for a reason. I am GOD’S AMBASSADOR HERE and gradually we will take these grounds for him”.
“No rest till the kingdom of our Lord is established”.
Spyro seems to trail after Chidinma Ekile’s footsteps, who turned gospel singer in 2021.
