Ini Edo Reveals Why She Chose Surrogacy
Nollywood actress, Iniobong Edo has disclosed why she welcomed her first child, a girl through surrogacy.
In a recent interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo,
the thespian noted that her reason is that she got tired of multiple miscarriages, but just wanted to have a child for herself whether married or not.
The actress also revealed are eggs were in good condition owing to more reasons she did it.
“I chose surrogacy because I had couples of miscarriages. And I just got tired of trying.
Ini Edo who got divorced from her marriage to American-based businessman, Philip Ehiagwina in 2013 also added that getting married was an action borne out of family pressure which she regretted stating “it wasn’t just the right move to make.”
“I don’t have a husband. So, I’m like, I want a child for myself whether I have a husband or not. So, what other options would I have? And I wanted it to be my child. My eggs. Thankfully, my eggs are good. So I did that.” She revealed.
The thespian, however, said she would get married again “if the right person comes.”
Ini Edo married Philip Ehiagwina on November 29, 2008 and divorced after the fifth year.
