IGP, Lai Mohammed, Police Image Makers to Converge in Ibadan for National Conference
Ibadan, the Oyo state capital is set to host the annual conference of Public Relations Officers and Strategic Communication Experts in The Nigeria Police Force scheduled to hold from the 12th to 15th of December, 2022.
Force Public relations officer, Police Headquarters, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement said the conference would be declared open by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba with Alhaji Lai Mohammed, CO.N, Honourable Minister of Information and Culture as special guest.
According to Mr Adejobi, the annual conference with the theme “Strengthening Strategic Communication Towards Police Reforms, Security and Integrity of 2023 Election” will also have in attendance Heads of Security Agencies in the State, Public Relations Practitioners from other security agencies, PR Experts and high profile media executives.
“The Inspector-General of Police wishes all participants the best even as they engage in peer review and cross-fertilization of ideas for improved management of the Nigeria Police Force strategic communications before, during, and after the elections”.
