‘I Cry Whenever…’:Senate President, Akpabio Goes Emotional Over Killings In Plateau

The Nigerian Senate President Godswill Akpabio has disclosed his state of mind over the killings in Plateau State.

Akpabio revealed in a statement on Sunday that he often breaks down in tears whenever he hears of violent attacks and killings in the State.

The statement which was issued by his media aide, Anietie Ekong, also pointed out that President Bola Tinubu, similarly was deeply troubled by the years of bloodshed in Plateau communities and is determined to restore peace and stability to the state.

Akpabio said, “I cry whenever anybody is killed in the Plateau. The state is looking for peace and President Tinubu will deliver peace to Plateau State,”.

“Too many lives have been lost. Too many homes destroyed. Plateau deserves peace, and anyone who wants to govern this state must be committed to peace,”.

He, however, advocated for an end to the blood shed urging anyone who wants to govern the state to be committed to peace.
