Hon. Prince Akeem Adeyemi Empowers Farmers, Artisans With N50,000 Cash In Oyo

Farmers and artisans resident in Oyo town in Oyo State were on Thursday, empowered by Hon. (Prince) Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi popularly known as SKIMEH with a sum of fifty thousand naira.

Hon. Adeyemi, who is one of the sons of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and also representing Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and West, Federal Constituency, Oyo State facilitated the programme for the year 2024.

According to our correspondent in Oyo, the cash empowerment programme took place at the mini-stadium, Ode Aremo, Akesan Market, Oyo and had the beneficiaries clad in SKIMEH’s customized T-shirts.

The programme was organized under the Institute For Cultural Agricultural Research, Samaru in conjunction with Salico-Prime Investment Limited.

While addressing the attendees, Hon. Akeem noted that 1500 people would each receive a sum of #50,000 which was confirmed by the people who got the transfers.

SKIMEH, now being called ‘Mr. Projects’ has consistently commissioned different projects to his constituency; covering Afijio, Atiba, Ọ̀yọ́ East, and Ọ̀yọ́ West.

Members of the Ọ̀yọ́ Messi, various religion leaders (Islam, Christianity and Traditional), Iyalọja of Ọ̀yọ́ Land; Alhaja Adijat Peju Bakare, market men and women, among others graced the occasion.
