Hardship Protests: No Loss Of Lives Recorded In Niger State- Danmaman
Shawulu Danmaman, the Police Commissioner in Niger State, has debunked reports of fatalities during the #EndBadGovernance protests in Suleja area of the state.
The Commissioner told journalists in Minna that he has not received any reports of loss of life during the protests, contrary to earlier claims from some sections of the media.
Danmaman who disclosed this shortly after returning from Suleja and Tafa Local Government Areas, where he assessed the situation firsthand, however, affirmed instances of vandalism and looting of properties at the local government secretariat.
Residents in Minna reportedly carried on with their normal vehicular and business activities with no case of placard-carrying protesters.
