Hardship Protest: Kano Residents Seek Divine Help On Day 10

News reaching The Pendulum Media reveal that some residents of Kano State have decided to end the protest with prayers over Nigeria’s bad leadership and economic problems.

Our correspondent gathered that special prayers were observed at the Isyaku Rabiu mosque at Goron Dutse area in Dala Local Government of the state.

One resident, Rabiu Shamma posted a short video on his Facebook page on how the prayer was conducted.

Captioning the video, he wrote, “A Quranic recitation from here Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu mosque, Goron Dutse, Kano for a prayer for the situation our country is in, may we find solace. Amin.”

The same style of prayers were reportedly held in Gyadi-Gyadi, Hausawa, Daurawa, Yankaba, Sabon Titi, Panshekara and Tudun Murtala among others despite earlier announcement by one of the organizers, Mubarak Ibrahim canceling the prayer session due to security reasons.

It would be recalled that the #endbadgovernance which started August 1st was peaceful until it turned violent leading to maiming, looting and destructions of public and private properties.
