Gridlock On Lagos/Ibadan Expressway Following Tragic Truck Collision
It has been gathered that a road accident occurred on Lagos/Ibadan Expressway early this morning.
The accident which occurred on the Kara Bridge involved three trucks colliding into one another Channels TV reports.
Following the Wednesday incident,
a terrible lockdown on the road has built up with slow movement of vehicles from around Lagos State.
According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) at the scene, eight vehicles were reportedly involved in the accidents, as one person was confirmed dead, while four others suffered injuries.
Lagos Sector Commander of the FRSC, Kehinde Hamzat, told Channels Television, “The bus driver died instantly and the park association took his corpse,”.
As of the time of filing this report, other rescue agencies have already arrived at the scene.
