Governor Ademola Adeleke Performs First Duty in Osun State, Freezes all State’s Accounts

He stated that the state’s appeal has been changed from “The state of Osun” to Osun state

The new governor and deputy governor of Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke and Prince Kola Adewusi have been sworn in by Justice Adepele Ojo, the state’s top judge.

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the new governor, declared the freezing of all state accounts in his inauguration speech.

Additionally, he stated that the state appeal had been changed from “The state of Osun” to Osun state.

By the state’s recognition of the Nigerian constitution, Governor Adeleke ordered that all state emblems now reflect the “state of the living spring” rather than the “state of the virtue.”

The governor promised to protect the interests of the people of Osun state and set up panels to review every appointment and action taken by his predecessor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola between July 16 and his last day in office.
