Gov. Akeredolu Highlights Significance of Legislative-Executive Cordial Relationship

Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu said the executive arm of his government has the potential to perform creditably with the cooperation of the legislative arm.
The governor, represented by his deputy, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the inauguration of the renovated parliamentary chamber of the state house of assembly in Akure, the Ondo State capital pointed out that government has nothing to do with the struggle for supremacy but collaboration which would facilitate dividends of democracy to the people.

He noted that providing a conducive environment is key to legislative activities, hence his administration made it a priority.
In an address, the speaker, Mr. Bamidele Oleyelogun thanked his colleagues for their perseverance during the period; in which the parliamentary chamber was undergoing repairs and pledged the continued support of the lawmakers to the present administration.
Consequently, the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, in a goodwill message commended the governor for upholding the security of the lives and property of residents which birthed the state security corps known as Amotekun.
