Gbenga Ogunbote Emerges as New Head Coach of 3SC
Spectators at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan witnessed the emergence and the unveiling of Gbenga Ogunbote as the new Head Coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on Monday.
Ogunbote, who is popularly known as Oracle, was unveiled after the resignation of the Head Coach a few weeks ago. Attending the unveiling is the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Seun Fakorede, Chairman, Sports Council, Hon. Gbenga Adewusi (Arole) and Chairman, Shooting Stars, Hon. Babatunde Olaniyan.
Ogunbote aka Oracle tutored Remo Stars to a third-place finish in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season, as the team qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup, and has now returned to the Oluyole Warriors for the third time in his coaching career.
He will replace Edith Agoye who resigned a few weeks ago to join another Premier League Club, Sunshine Football Club of Akure.
In the next season, the former Enyimba, Sunshine Stars, and Enugu Rangers tactician is expected to change the fortunes of 3SC.
