Four Persons Arrested Over Missing Newborn From Ekiti hospital
Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of four suspects in connection with the case of a missing baby.

The Pendulum Media gathered that
a newborn baby, barely a day old is reportedly missing from an health facility in Ado Ekiti named Okeyimi Health Centre.
Reports say that the incident occurred on Monday when healthcare workers on duty attempted to attend to the baby, only to discover she was missing.
The incident which has led the hospital into chaos, has also left the infant’s mother, family members, patients, and staff in shock and distress.
Speaking of the arrests, SP Sunday Abutu, disclosed that the Commissioner of Police, Joseph Eribo, had ordered a full-scale investigation led by the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID.
“The Commissioner of Police has directed the State CID to thoroughly investigate the case and ensure that the missing baby is found,” SP Abutu stated.
“So far, four persons have been arrested and are currently providing useful information to assist in our ongoing investigation.”
Moreover, an official statement from the hospital’s management is yet to be released as of press time.
