Former England Manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson Dies After Cancer Diagnosis
Sven-Goran Eriksson, an- ex England boss has been reported dead after battling a cancer- related ailment.
In a terse statement on Monday,
Eriksson’s family spoke about Sven-Goran’s demise who was aged 76.
It read, “Sven-Goran Eriksson has passed away. After a long illness, SGE died during the morning at home surrounded by family.”
The 76-year-old had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
At the beginning of 2024, the Swede revealed he only had a year to live “at best”.
Eriksson, during his life time managed top European clubs like Benfica, Roma, Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Lazio.
