Folarin Congratulates Tinubu on Tribunal Victory
Teslim Folarin, a former Senate Leader and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2023 Gubernatorial election in Oyo State, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed -Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and the progressive for their victories at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT.
On Wednesday, the presidential Tribunal dismissed the petitions filed by the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, the Labour Party and its Presidential candidate, Peter Obi and the PDP and its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar for lack of merit.
The senator, in a statement described the judgement of the Tribunal as victory for Democracy and good governance.
Folarin mentioned that the judgement will act as a tonic that will further energise the President to deliver on his Renewed Hope Agenda.
He, however, called on the opposition to collaborate with the president and the ruling party, APC to move the country forward.
