Father’s Day: “Water full my eyes but I’ll be alright!” -Davido
Award winning Nigerian Singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has sworn that he would be alright despite him being sad on Father’s day.
The pop singer took to his verified Instagram story and stated that this year’s Father’s Day is a difficult one for him as it has only left him teary.
The singer wrote, “Difficult Father’s Day for me… But thank God for strength. Some days will be like this. Water full my eyes but I’ll be alright! Forever!”(sic)
Davido’s sad mood can be related to the death of his first son, Ifeanyi, who drowned in their home’s swimming pool while away with the mother of the child, Chioma.
The toddler died on October 31, 2022, at Banana Island home two weeks after celebrating his birthday.
