Embrace Transparent Monetization- Oyo Govt Urges Gaming Companies
The Secretary to the State Government has charged gaming companies to embrace transparent monetization in the world of gaming.
The Secretary, Professor Olanike Adeyemo FAS FTWAS expressed this during a 5th annual Stakeholders Interactive Forum with the Theme: Tax and Task, Building a Sustainable Gaming Environment held at Golden Tulip Hotel, Jericho, Ibadan.
Adeyemo noted that the present administration in the State is committed to a responsible gaming policy thereby, urging the game operators to cooperate with the Oyo State State Gaming and Lottery Board to tap from the opportunity in the gaming industry in the State.
Adding that the State Government has a responsible gaming framework principle to be sure that the citizens are going to be protected.
In his remarks, the Director General of the Board, Mr Olajide Boladuro commended the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for making Oyo State the number one investment destination in Nigeria.
Boladuro enjoined the gaming companies in the State to adhere to strict rules and standards designed to protect players in the gaming industry.
