Eid-El Kabir: Obey Rule Of Law– NSCDC Warns Jigawa Residents, Deploys 3000 Personnel

In preparation for the forthcoming
Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebrations, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State Command, has warned residents of Jigawa State to abide by the rule of law.

ASC Badruddeen Tijjani Mahmud, the public relation officer of the command disclosed this in a statement, adding that about three thousand personnel have been deployed to ensure adequate security.

Mahmud noted that the personnel were drawn from various departments and units, including Rapid Response, Special Armed Squad, Counter Terrorism, CNAI, Intelligence, Anti-Vandal, CBRNE, Operations, Disaster and Medical units.

The spokesman also mentioned that all public places in the state, including government institutions and installations, shopping malls, Eid grounds, durbar routes, worship places, palaces and motor parks will feel the presence of the officers.

State Commandant Muhammad Danjuma (CC), however, urged the general population to obey the rule of law, cooperate with his personnel, and report any suspicious activities to the nearest security formation.
