Edo Election: INEC Declares PDP Winner In First LGA
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP
has won the Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State; the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says.
PDP’s win was announced at the beginning of the collation of results of the governorship election in the state.
INEC noted that PDP garnered 8,470 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress, APC, which got 5,907 while the Labour Party, LP, came a distant third with 494 votes.
