“Dream Big, Work Hard, …”-Gov. Adeleke Motivates Osun Corp Members
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has encouraged members of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, deployed to the State to dream big and work hard.
While speaking at the swearing-in and opening ceremony of the NYSC 2023 Batch C Stream II at the permanent orientation camp, Ede, on Tuesday, the Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Youth, Moshood Olagunju, Adeleke expressed that he believes in their potentials and his government is ready to provide the necessary tools they need to aid their aspirations.
In his address, he pointed out that they are Nigeria’s most valued resource, urging them to pursue the the right knowledge to achieve excellence.
“Let the programme be a stepping stone towards your dreams and aspirations. Remember, success is not just about personal achievement but also about giving back to your communities and making a positive impact.
“You are our nation’s most valuable resource, and I believe in your immense potential. It is therefore, our responsibility to provide you with the tools necessary to succeed, and I am confident that the Orientation course will do just that.
“I urge you to dream big, work hard, and be the change you wish to see in the world. With the right knowledge and a commitment to excellence, you can achieve anything. This Orientation programme is just the beginning of your incredible journey.”
He also urged the corps members to be law-abiding, embrace peaceful coexistence and avoid youthful exuberance.
Also, the Osun NYSC state coordinator, Agbor Ndoma Obim, revealed that 2,389 corps members were deployed to the state for the youth service.
“The success of your service year will depend on your attitude, discipline, and commitment,” he said.
