Dino Melaye Joins Kogi State’s Gubernatorial Race
Nigerian politician and former senator who represented the Kogi West Senatorial District, during the 8th National Assembly has joined the governorship race in Kogi State.
The Pendulum Media reports that Melaye tweeted on Wednesday in a campaign poster captioned “no more stealing and killings”.
This development came barely a month after Atiku Abubakar was defeated in the presidential election.
Recall that the former senator was one of the spokespersons for the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Campaign Council, PCC, during Atiku’s Presidential campaign.
In an earlier and separate tweet, the politician revealed his readiness in rescuing Kogi State.
He wrote:
“We can do this together. Lets rescue Kogi State. I am ready to take the lead”.
