Davido’s Son Ifeanyi Dies; Police Reacts

“Eight housekeepers were brought in for questioning. Anyone found not responsible will be let go…”

Following the death of Ifeanyi, David Adeleke’s son, on Monday, the Police in Lagos State have reacted.

According to the Police, eight domestic workers of David Adedeji, better known by his stage name Davido, have reportedly been hauled to the police station for questioning in connection with the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesman, confirmed this to press on Tuesday.

“Eight housekeepers were brought in for questioning. Anyone found not responsible will be let go and those found accountable will be prosecuted,” he said.

Ifeanyi who turned three days ago reportedly drowned on Monday at the singer’s home at Banana Island in a swimming pool, according to NAN.

The child was transported by EMS to Ever Care Hospital in Lekki, where his death was pronounced by medical staff.

In order to travel to Ibadan for a family reunion, the couple left Ifeanyi with his carers on Monday.
