Confusion: Gunmen Abduct Two Varsity Students From Restaurant In Taraba
Two students of Federal University Wukari were yesterday kidnapped by gunmen leading to confusion for the residents of the town and environs.
The Pendulum Media gathered that
the incident happened opposite the school gate, where chains of stores service the school community and environs.
Reacting to the incident, the Chief Security Officer of the institution, Sule Gani, disclosed that the victims were spillover students who were preparing to retake some of their exams.
Moreover, the abducted students identified as Joshua Sardauna from the Economics Department and Obianu Elizabeth from the Microbiology Department were reportedly whisked away from a restaurant.
Gani added that the security operatives have launched a search and rescue operation to ensure the students regain their freedom.
