BREAKING: Suspected Armed Herders Storm Benue IDPs Camp, kill 43
Suspected armed herders have reportedly attacked an Internally Displaced Persons, (IDPs) camp located at LGEA Primary School Mgban, in Nyiev Council Ward of Guma, Local Government Area, LGA, of Benue state killing 43 people including pregnant women and children.
The attack which occurred late at night came few days after a similar attack in Umogidi village, Enetekpa Adoka district of Otukpo LGA claiming 52 lives.
According to a source who spoke to the Vanguard, the primary school that housed the IDPs was attacked at 10 pm on Good Friday by the marauders. Adding that 43 corpses which include pregnant women and children were discovered while scores sustained severe injuries and many are still missing.
