BREAKING: JAMB Fixes Minimum Admission Score for Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fixed the minimum score for candidates to secure admission into universities in Nigeria.

According to a report from Daily Post, the decision on the new score was reached at the 2023 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja.

While the minimum score for potential university candidates was fixed at 140, the board also pegged the minimum cut-off marks of Polytechnics at 100, and Colleges of Education at 100.
