Breaking: Donald Trump Arraigned for Criminal Charges, Pleads Not Guilty to 34 Charges
Former US President Donald Trump has been arraigned for criminal charges at a New York City courthouse on Tuesday.
Trump arrived at the courthouse in an 11 motorcade, was arrested, and led to the courtroom.
The former US president happens to be the first in the history of the United States to be indicted for criminal charges.
Trump surrendered himself at court in lower Manhattan for arraignment on criminal charges and has been charged with almost 34 counts, including felonies.
According to CNN, the indictment stems from an investigation related to a hush money payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to 34 charges.
Trump who traveled in a black SUV was accompanied by his defense team, Todd Blanche and Susan Necheles.
