BREAKING: Bandits Kill 7 Policemen, 4 Others In Zamfara Community
Residents of Magarya community, Zurmi Local Government Area in Zamfara State have been attacked by Armed bandits.
According to reports, the bandits claimed the lives of eleven people which include seven mobile police officers and four civilians.
A resident of the community, Ahmad Umar, said a primary school, named Magarya Model was also set ablaze, while many people sustained various degrees of injuries.
In addition, three cars, including one belonging to the district head of Magarya, who is also the brother of the former speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Nasir Magarya, were also destroyed.
It was also gathered that chairs in the parlour of the former speaker’s house were set ablaze.
However, the State Police Command’s spokesman, ASP Yazid Abubakar, could not be reached at the press time.
