Approach the Ministry Directly- Oyo Govt Tells Pensioners to Avoid Swindlers Over Gratuities
Members of the public have been alerted by the Oyo State Government on a recent happening surrounding pensioners and their gratuities.
The State government stated that some unscrupulous elements have been swindling pensioners in the state with a promise to fast-track their gratuities.
On Friday, the Commissioner for Establishment and Training, Adeniyi Adebisi in a statement by Prince Dotun Oyelade, Commissioner for Information and Orientation explained that the ministry is aware of some insinuations by some people to defraud pensioners awaiting gratuities.
Adebisi, thereby, urged the general public to be careful to avoid falling into the trap of the faceless group of people.
He added that any retiree processing their gratuity should approach the ministry directly, desisting from engaging any intermediary to guide against exploitation.
