Amotekun Operatives Nab Man With Relief Materials To Bandits In Ekiti

Amotekun Operatives of lse-Ekiti Local Government Command has arrested a 35-year-old Musa Abdulai, an indigene of Sokoto State residing at Shasha in Akure, Ondo State for supplying food items to bandits at their hideouts.

Abdulai was arrested on Monday 7th October, 2024 in Ise Ekiti at about 6:30 pm, a press release to Daily Post reveals.

Officer Adeleye Abiodun, Head of the Communications Department of the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, disclosed that the suspect was grabbed by their Operatives at Oritan Forest Reserve located at Ise/Orun during a patrol.

According to Abiodun, the suspect confessed that he had been supplying food items to people suspected to be Fulani/Bororo bandits hiding in the area.

Exhibits recovered from him at the scene of his arrest inside the forest included a sack bag containing food items.

He has since been handed over to the Divisional Police Station in Ise Ekiti for further investigations.
