‘Alison-Madueke Had Yacht She Rented To Jay-Z, Beyoncé’ – Sowore Claims
Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate has alleged that the embattled former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, had a yacht she rented out to prominent people including American billionaire celebrity couple, Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
Sowore’s claim is coming as teaser of Chude Jideonwo’s upcoming documentary ‘Is It Your Money?: The Story of Diezani Alison-Madueke.’
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Jideonwo, the host of a popular talk show, #WithChude, announced that the documentary will be the “biggest-budget docu-series from our dear country.”
He said, the documentary investigates allegations of corruption during her time as Minister for Petroleum Resources.
Meanwhile, Sowore has weighed into the proposed documentary.
He said, “All the revelations that came out of the Diezani story by now, should have become a movie. Buying a yacht with the money of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and riding it around and renting it out to Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé. I think that is more brazen.”
Alison-Madueke served as Nigeria’s petroleum minister between 2010 and 2015 under former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
She is currently facing multiple corruption charges both at home and abroad.
