AFCON 2023: Super Eagles Draws 1-1 With Equatorial Guinea
The outcome of the AFCON 2023 match held in Ivory Coast between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Equatorial Guinea ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the first half of the game, Ivan Salvador gave Equatorial Guinea a 1-0 lead but Victor Osimhen restored parity just two minutes later with a fine header.
However, the Super Eagles and the Elephants failed to score in the second half, as they ended up in a 1-1 tie at the Olympic Stadium.
Nigeria is scheduled to play against the host nation on Thursday.
