AFCON 2023: ‘I’m Rooting For The Super Eagles’-Adebayor
Former Togo striker, Emmanuel Adebayor has declared support for the Nigerian national team, Super Eagles to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
The former Arsenal player expressed his support on Tuesday morning during his visit to the team’s hotel in Abidjan.
Speaking to Complete Sports, Adebayor said, ‘I’m rooting for the Super Eagles to win the trophy.
“I’m with Nigeria and hope the players will deliver,”.
Recall, the Super Eagles on Sunday began their campaign with a 1-1 tie with Equatorial Guinea.
They are joint-second in Group A behind the Ivorians.
